How does the assignment grading system work?

2015-09-24 09:34

You can get the following grades on a practical assignment:

G: pass. Your assignment solution has passed and been awared a point score to be counted towards your final course grade.
K: comments. Your assignment solution contains some open-ended questions, stop by a teacher's office as soon as possible. Note: your K can be transformed into a G or an O depending on the discussion.
O: incomplete. Your assignment solution is not sufficient to pass, resubmit by the resubmission deadline.
U: fail. Your assignment solution has been judged insuffient to merit resubmission. You may (depending on the task) be given the chance to resubmit at the end of the course, see assignment specification for details.
F: file permissions. You have the wrong file permissions set on your assignment solution directory or files. Correct this immediately but do not update any of the files (update timestamps after the deadline give you an U).

Note: Students must stop by the teachers office for any non-passing grade (or they will get an automatic U).
