Presentation Instructions

The presentations will take place in conference room C, MB212. There will be a total of 8-9 sessions, with 5 presentation slots in each session, i.e., you will make your presentation to four other students and at least two instructors. You have a total of 10 minutes available for your presentation. One of the instructors will work as moderator to keep the time schedule.

During the presentation there are no formal rules except that you have to conduct a live demonstration of your project. The rest of the presentation you can can dispose as you like. Notice that it is up to you to make sure that all working features are presented and demonstarted. You will only get credits for those that work.

At least one presentation are required to get a passing grade. To get bonus points for a project you are also required to present it. All required features on a project do not need to work at the presentation, i.e., you always get bonus points for those that works. However, to get a passing grade on a project it must later be complemented with the missing or malfunctioning features.

Extra bonus points are given to well-planned and well-conducted presentations, regardless of the quality of the presented project.

Available in the conference room are a whiteboard, a stationary or portable Linux machine with the same configuration as in MC426 and a projector. That is, you can also use existing software such as OpenOffice and Acrobat reader for your presentation.

Make sure that you have prepared your presentation well, and that you know how to quickly get started as soon as you log in on the machine.
