News

2015-05-11: The meeting on May 15th has been cancelled as it is a "squeeze" day, after a holiday on Thursday. The next three meetings are the 22nd and 29th of May, and the 5th of June.
2014-11-21: Added Johannes Dinner Rally problem to the list of current problems. Arguably the base problem should be easy (as a standard set of rotation and permutation techniques will likely suffice), but all extensions remain open.
2014-10-10: Added link to Kattis.com in problem finding guide. Moved (and updated) Manhattan from current to past problems, as most special cases have been solved. Added Bishops to past problems, as we proved the 2n-2 solution optimal.
2014-10-03: Note that all remaining lectures will be held in the CS department conference room, D425 (fourth floor, past the support on the right).
2014-10-03: Added additional lecture notes and inserted the Manhattan problem variants in Current Problems.
2014-04-01: Remember to register on the course (for more information, see the welcoming letter in the menu to the left). You can register on the course three days before it starts and five days after.
2014-04-01: Remember to register for the written exam 10 days before the examination date. You are not allowed to write the exam if you are not registered for it.
2014-04-01: The teacher sends information by mail to your cs-mail. If you do not read that daily, you can forward the mails to another email-address. Go to the page https://support.cs.umu.se/userinfo/info/index.html and fill in the email-address that you frequently read in the text box at the end of the page. Then press the button "Save settings".
2014-04-01: The home-page is initiated!
