Health and Medical Informatics
The Medical Informatics Group has more than 15 years experience in information and internet technology based research and development.
Advanced internet technology plays an important role in design and implementation of technology platforms and rich internet applications. Software engineering and component management are common denominators in our developments.
Presently we develop information and image analysis methods and tools, information infrastructures and platforms, and various decision support systems and repositories.
In education we support regional and national initiatives in medical informatics.
Research is tightly intertwined with general research in computer science, therefore more information about projects can be found on different research group's pages (e.g., Cognitive Computing Group, User Interaction and Knowledge Modelling)
