Course registration
Registration for all courses that have other university courses as prerequisites take place at the Student service desk. You can not be part of any examination on a course (submit assignments, write exams, etc.) if you are not registered.
All course registration for courses that have other university courses as prerequisites take place at the Student service desk on the 4th floor of MIT building. If the course you should start only has the default prerequisites for university studies, the registration takes place on the first lecture of the course.
When registering, you should bring a "Ladokutdrag" (study merit record) with you in order to prove that you fulfil the prerequisites (and also to avoid long queues). You can print out a student merit record via the portal.
If you already know in advance that you do not meet the prerequisite requirements for the course, you can directly contact the program director of your study programme (if you enrolled a master´s programme) or a study advisor to discuss an individual study plan for your studies.
If you do not know what prerequisites a particular course has, you can find the information in the course syllabus on the course website. See the courses page for more information.
