Computer programming is a major part of computer science. However, it is only one aspect of a multifaceted area where focus lies on problem solving.
Computer science also cover areas as e.g. computer graphics, image processing, machine learning, knowledge representation, information and interaction technology. The courses and lecturers are often closely linked to the research within computer science. Students majoring in computer science often work with e.g. system development, project management and product development within areas such as technology, medicine, media, design and economy. It is also possible to undertake post graduate studies after graduation.
