Research Interests

My research interests are primary within the fields of design optimization and inverse problems. Primarily, I concentrate on problems of wave propagation and fluid flow. Examples of problems that I study are:

  • design of acoustical horns and other interfacial devices,
  • design of devices for terahertz radiation,
  • microwave tomography for various applications,
  • implementation and algorithmic aspects on high performance and large scale computing problems.
